Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Grublist, a shared grocery-list and recipe planning app for households (“Grublist”, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Grublist.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding agreement to use Grublist. If you use the service on behalf of a household, you are responsible for the conduct of the members you invite.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Subscriptions and payments

Grublist is free to start and may offer optional paid subscriptions. Subscriptions purchased on iPhone are billed through your Apple account and are subject to Apple’s terms. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

Your content

You keep ownership of the recipes, lists, and other content you add to Grublist. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you and the household you share it with. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to share it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
• Upload malicious code or misuse the service in a way that harms other users or Grublist.
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.

Intellectual property

Grublist, including its name, logo, design, and software, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without permission.

Service availability

We work to keep Grublist reliable, but we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any unavailability or loss of data outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grublist and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Grublist and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm others or us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Grublist after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [PROVINCE/STATE, COUNTRY], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be subject to the courts located there, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
